Louise Ellis MVDr BSc (hons) EquiSci MRCVS

Louise graduated in June 2010 and went on to work in Sweden at a mixed practice before joining Coombefield in the Small Animal & Equine department in October.
Previous to pursuing her dream to become a veterinarian, Louise obtained a degree in Equine science and worked at an equine hospital as a nurse.
She loves to travel and has spent time in veterinary practices in many countries including the United States. Louise has been involved with and owned horses for at least 15 years and, for fun, likes to ride one of her horses over cross country courses.
Other than her equine pursuits, Louise enjoys mountain biking up steep hills lead by her two dogs or likes to throw herself down steep hills strapped to a snowboard.
In addition to horses and dogs, Louise also has a blind cat who guards her house.
